Hacking a bank

Image
Hacking the Bank One evening i was talking to a friend about security on the internet, just for fun we decided to make a little demo on how to hack userid and password from an online Banking application. This is the result. Whatever is displayed below here is for educational purposes only. We believe that all techniques used and displayed here are very simple for anyone with an average knowledge of computer networks and webserver applications. The information provided on this page is NOT sufficient to hack any real Bank. This page is a very simplified demo of an evil hacker fooling an online Banking user. The main reason to put this information online is to warn users for internet crimes, and hopefully to make more people aware that the internet is a dangerous neighbourhood! And no, one does not need to be a genius to commit crimes with computers! We started by activating a virtual directory named BankSite on a Microsoft IIS server. This virtual directory represen

Hacker claims breach of 79 banks, releases customer data A week after announcing retirement, Reckz0r releases customer data ostensibly culled from bank computers. Reckz0r publicizes the data dump on Twitter one week after announcing retirement from "greyhat" hacking. A hacker claiming to have broken into networks of dozens of banks and stolen customer data, has released as proof a file that contains names, addresses, e-mail addresses, and phone numbers in plain text, but no credit card numbers. "I penetrated over 79 large banks, I've been targetting these banks since 3 months," read a tweet from the Twitter account of Reckz0r. "Actually, I didn't hacked VISA & Mastercard, I hacked the banks, #Chase..etc." A Pastebin post from today has a link to a downloadable file on the AnonFiles.com site that appears to have data from about 1,700 accounts in the U.S. and other cities around the world. Reckz0r said only a po

10 Essential Windows Softwares Download

Image
Windows 7 may be brand new, but that doesn't mean you can't find free or cheap tools to tweak its settings, supplement its features, or smooth an upgrade from XP or Vista. We've compiled a list of ten valuable software tools--many of them free--that can make your Win 7 experience a lot more rewarding. (Click on any of the images for a closer look at that tool.) 1.Microsoft Security Essentials Like its predecessors, Windows 7 doesn't provide built-in protection against malware such as viruses and spyware. (It does have a firewall, however.) You could pay McAfee or Symantec for this service, but why bother with their protection racket when Redmond's service does the same thing for free? Microsoft Security Essentials provides solid protection for home PCs, and it's gratis. If you prefer third-party security, check out AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition instead.   2.Ninite Brave souls upgrading to Windows 7 from XP must do a clean install, a tedio

1. Angry Birds Star Wars As brutishly mercenary as a Force-enabled version of Angry Birds might seem, the newest variant of Rovio's mobile juggernaut is actually pretty good. The standard Birds gameplay gets bolted onto iconic sequences from the Star Wars saga and players will be able to deflect lasers with a lightsaber and use Force Push on the franchise's rickety environments. A Good Match for: Iteration addicts. We've reached the point where each new AB release shows interesting tweaks to a core formula. The smash-it-all gameplay has moved from a see-what-happens model to one where various abilities exist to help you force the outcome you want. The Star Wars -centric skills in ABSW aren't going to replace careful aiming and application of momentum but they make it so you won't need as much luck as in the past. download here 2.Cut the Rope Simplicity's been the key to success for ZeptoLab's hit physics puzzler.
